Media Training for Startups: Story Telling

During this exclusive event, participants will learn how to present themselves and their company to their target audience.

As an entrepreneur, you likely are experienced in talking about your business. But do you know how to craft stories to be more appealing to Journalists? Do you know the Swiss Media Landscape?

STARTUP CAMPUS Switzerland and Impact Hub Zürich invite early-stage startups to their exclusive event to learn how to present themselves and their company to their target audience. In an interactive workshop, the speakers will support attendees in the development of core messages and thus bring them closer to Media Relations.

The interactive Workshop will be held online and will be in the format of an interactive 2.5-hour workshop.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • Basics for developing core messages specific to startups based on the “Pains & Gains” theory and the hero story.
  • How to write your hero story to present your message crisply to the media
  • At the end of the workshop you will pitch your hero story (voluntary) and receive valuable feedback
  • PR and startup expert Stefan Huber from StoryUp will be on hand to offer advice and support.

Target audience
Early-stage startups that already have a media presence, such as a website and/or a social media presence. In order to meet the individual needs of each participant, the number of places in the media training is limited. You will find out at the latest one week before the workshop whether you are allowed to participate.
