The International Space Science Institute and the Swiss Academy of Sciences are hosting Thomas Zurbuchen, Head of NASA Science Missions at the University of Bern. He will give insights on the successes and challenges of Swiss and US Space Science as well as share his story.

Thomas Zurbuchen from Heiligenschwendi is the new Head of NASA Science Missions since 2016. Thus, he bridges the dynamic space nation Switzerland and the largest global player in space, NASA. At this event participants will learn about his personal story and about the many successes and challenges of Swiss and US Space Science.

This event is hosted by the International Space Science Institute and the Swiss Academy of Sciences with the aim to inspire upcoming and established space scientists, astronomers, and Earth observers.
