Every month, eight projects are selected and allowed to present their business ideas before a jury of successful entrepreneurs and investors.
Venture pitch is the first stage of the venture kick program. Aspirants apply with a vision and a clear idea about how they intend to turn their research project into a sustainable business. 4 of the selected start-ups will qualify for the second stage and receive CHF 10.000 each.
The program is open for individuals with a business idea in any scientific field who are currently enrolled at a Swiss academic institution (student, postgraduate, senior scientist, professor etc.) and start a company in Switzerland. Applicants must not have already founded a legal company nor received any venture capital for their start-up.
