Seven Swiss startups among the Red Herrings Top 100 Europe winners

Red Herring rewards start-up companies and entrepreneurs for their management, quality and maturity, technological advantage and innovation as well as their market strategy, growth and footprint. Over 1’500 participating European companies went through the selection process after which 270 were short-listed for the final.

At the Red Herring conference in Amsterdam the shortlisted companies held presentations in front of investors and the Red Herring team. The jury selected and announced the most outstanding top 100 companies, among them seven high-tech Swiss startups. They were bestowed with the 2016 Red Herring Top 100 Europe award.

The Seven Swiss startups are:

Biovotion, Medtech: developed a wearable device together with a Vital Sign Monitoring platform that continuously transmits patient’s vital sign data during the treatment process. This addresses the growing demand for data continuity, quality and the patient’s security in monitoring of chronical illnesses.

Diviac, ICT: created a platform on which divers can log their dive-activities on a smartphone, tablet or laptop – direct data uploading from a computer is also possible. All logs are synced across devices enabling full time access. The Deviac community enables divers, instructors and dive shops to connect, follow each other’s activities and stay in touch.

eSMART Technologies, Cleantech:  developed an intelligent control system for houses or workplaces. The system enables on- and off-site control of how much energy one has consumed. The device also provides tips on how to efficiently utilise energy.

High-Tech Bridge, Security:  the company’s web security platform “ImmuniWeb” provides companies of all sizes with the most sophisticated on-demand and continuous web application security testing, website protection, continuous monitoring and compliance. This platform enables any one to manage the most sophisticated website security assessment in a few minutes.

homePad Solutions, ICT: develops the first simple and intuitive paperless solution for property management. The digital application enables the creation of various secured reports such as Apartment protocol building report.

Nexthink, ICT-Software: is the pioneer of end-user IT Analytics and support IT departments and companies in the IT security, IT operations and projects.

Securosys , Security: the Zurich-based startup specializes in design, development and production of secure communication technologies and systems for commercial applications.
