Dartfish App Finalist at the Tabby Awards

The Tabby Awards is the first competition acknowledging the best tablet apps worldwide. The jury of the award has selected Dartfish Express as one of the best tablet apps worldwide in the Sports&Fitness category.

Independent judges selected the finalists of the competition among over 150 iOS, Android and Windows 8 apps submitted from more than a dozen countries in this first tablet app competition. one of the finalists is Dartfish Express, an analysis solution for coaches and athletes.

The Tabby Awards have received submissions from more than a dozen countries including Australia, Canada, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In the last few weeks, an international jury of tablet professionals reviewed the submitted apps. The panel of judges was assembled in collaboration with the Application Developers Alliance and was co-chaired by Ravi Bhatt, CEO of BranchFire, and George Jones, chief consultant at Hit Detection and previous Editor at Maximum PC and TabTimes. Judges selected 60 apps for the final round of the competition.

Here are the finalists of the Sports&Fitness category:

  • Dartfish Express (iOS, Dartfish) 
  • FitnessClass (iOS, PumpOne) 
  • Nexus – Nike + Experience Up-scaled for iPad (iOS, Apptreme Studio) 

Winners of the Tabby Awards first competition for consumer apps will be announced later this summer. They will be celebrated at a ceremony during Tablet Ecosystem, a new conference covering the business of tablet apps to be held on November 13, 2013 in New York City.

Dartfish Express is a mobile video analysis solution for coaches and athletes. It was launched in November 2012. The app is designed for iPhone and iPad.

Extended deadline for special measures of CTI

Conditions for export-oriented SMEs conducting innovation projects with the CTI have been facilitated. The deadline for project applications for special measures was now extended. Applicants now have until 14 November 2016 (previously: 31 October) to submit their formally correct project proposals.
