Ludicious - Zürich Game Festival is now accepting submissions for the competitions of its third edition. Two prizes with a total value of € 12’000 will be awarded at the next edition of the festival, which will take place from January 26 to 29, 2017 at the Zeughaushof in Zurich. For Swiss games there are the SGDA Swiss Game Awards in addition.
For its «International Competition» and «Student Competition» the festival is looking for the most innovative games by emerging studios and start-ups. Submission deadline is October 2, 2016. Swiss games can also be entered for the «SGDA Swiss Game Awards», which the Swiss Game Developers Association (SGDA) will award to the best games from Switzerland.
Three competitions
International game developers can enter their projects for one of two competitions: Either the «International Competition», with its «Ludicious Award» (€ 8’000), honoring excellence in cutting edge game design, or the «Student Competition», which supports the next generation of innovative game designers with the «Outstanding Talent Award» (€ 4’000). The SGDA will once again hold the «SGDA Swiss Game Awards» as a partner event to Ludicious. Submissions for the Ludicious Competitions as well as the «SGDA Swiss Game Awards» can be entered via www.ludicious.ch.
