Goodfestival Medal winners April 2017

The third edition of GoodFestival brings together innovators from around the globe in Lausanne to get insights on the topic “The future of sustainable innovation”. The five-day event offers participants the chance to network, raise funds and win the Good100 Medal.

Launched in October 2016, the GoodFestival is a bi-annual event and the world's biggest celebration of sustainable innovation. The event brings together social innovators who are building a better world through creation of sustainable solutions. Social innovators include social entrepreneurs, writers, teachers, filmmakers, designers, musicians, doctors, dancers, scientists, artisans, students, visionaries and thought leaders at small, medium and large organisations.

The first and second editions of event were successful with 6,000 experiences delivered to Innovators, partners, speakers and workshop leaders. Thanks to the large turnout, the 3rd edition will too, provide a platform for networking and establishing new partnerships to scale up projects. The event focuses on topics in the field of education, water, nutrition, health, habitat, energy, environment or the arts. The event will take place from 17th to 21st October at The Olympic Museum in Lausanne.

A wide range of activities also awaits the innovators. Besides networking, attending workshops and raising funds for projects, innovators will have the chance develop their projects with the GoodFestival team and various field-experts. At the end of the event they will pitch their idea to the audience. Participants with the most outstanding ideas will be awarded with the PremaGyan Good100 Medal at a special awards ceremony. In  the previous events Swiss startups such as TwentyGreen, Oyoty, Includeed, RethinkResource, EZBee, and other Swiss projects won the Good100 Medal.

In addition to the award, the GoodFestival team will collaborate with the participants to increase their visibility. Together, they will craft a campaign to attract the most promising innovators from Switzerland and around the world by leveraging the GoodFestival community which comprises of more than 340,000 members.
