Jakta'a PHA-ZE 100 & Loft Dynamics' VR Airbus H125

Jekta has received an order for 50 of our PHA-ZE 100 aircraft to Indian seaplane operator MEHAIR while Loft Dynamics has delivered its virtual reality simulator to a customer in Sicily. These milestones demonstrate the growing trust global companies demonstrate are putting in Swiss technologies.

Jekta Switzerland SA is developing PHA-ZE 100, an all-electric Commerical, 19-seat commercial seaplane powered by ten electric motors supplied with energy from batteries or hydrogen fuel cells. Its initial flight endurance on battery power is projected at 60 minutes, with a 30-minute reserve. The startup has now secured an order of 50 units from Mehair (Mumbai International), the Indian seaplane services provider supporting air travel between cities and destinations virtually inaccessible by land infrastructure. The company is now adding new routes under the Indian government's UDAN regional connectivity scheme.

Following the receipt of a deposit for the first ten electrically powered amphibious aircraft, Jekta will commence the deliveries to begin in 2029. With this agreement, MEHAIR will be the first customer to receive the aircraft in Asia, with initial deliveries starting in 2029. It is anticipated that the first ten aircraft will be delivered in baseline configuration for 19 passengers to support regional connectivity. “We know the Jekta team’s heritage for producing efficient amphibious aircraft, and having been introduced to its electrically powered PHA-ZE 100, we made a decisive move to acquire these aircraft early, showing our deep commitment towards greener technology. We want to be one of the first operators in the world to update its fleet with a zero emissions aircraft to support regional flights between land and water infrastructure,” says Siddharth Verma, Director of MEHAIR.

“Blessed with a 7,400 km long coastline and a rich diversity of rivers, lakes, backwaters and dams, India is readying for the upcoming amphibious aircraft revolution. It is both the fastest-growing aviation market and the single largest untapped seaplane geography in the world, and the PHA-ZE 100 checks all the boxes for meeting this upcoming seaplane potential.

Loft Dynamics AG delivers to first customer in Italy
Loft Dynamics AG (formerly VRM Switzerland) is a creator and operator of the world's first and only virtual reality (VR) simulators qualified by a major aviation regulator. Equipped with a 3D high-resolution panoramic view, dynamic six-degrees-of-motion platform, and full-scale replica cockpit with a unique pose tracking system, Loft Dynamics’ simulators provide an immersive, realistic, customizable, and risk-free training experience. By offering a training solution 10 times smaller and 20 times less expensive than traditional simulators, the startup enhances training accessibility and scalability, empowering highly skilled pilots to meet global demand.

The company has delivered an order of a VR Airbus H125 training device to Multicom based in Sicily, Italy. Helixcom, a subsidiary of Multicom. This is Loft Dynamics' first simulator in Italy, demonstrating the region's independent demand for such realistic training devices. Helixcom currently operates five Airbus H125 Helicopters at their own airfield south of Caltanissetta, with three of them owned by their parent company, Multicom. By acquiring a Loft Dynamics simulator, Helixcom aims to establish a comprehensive training and competence center for helicopter pilots. This center will provide pilots with realistic training experiences, leveraging the numerous advantages of simulator training, including the execution of abnormal procedures and the ability to handle demanding scenarios through scenario-based exercises.
