Bluelion dedicates an acceleration program to building teams

Majority of startups fail because of team misalignment. Feedback from entrepreneurs and investors confirms this trend, highlighting the need for a new approach to founding. Bluelion’s LikeMinded program is the first Swiss acceleration program with a dedicated focus on teams. The program aims to connect skilled and motivated professionals and help them to build high-performing co-founding teams before they dive into the idea validation stage.

The 10-week program provides a part-time curriculum for working professionals that need support in the early stages of their entrepreneurial journey. Professionals without a business idea can also apply and join the program through a multilevel matchmaking approach.

The accelerator program is divided into two phases: Phase 1 focuses on building a solid co-founding the team while Phase 2 on idea validation. The participants will participate in weekly training programs, coaching-sessions and networking events, after which they should introduce a team of at least two complementary co-founders, and a problem-solution-fit analysis of their idea.

After the program, the teams will pitch their ideas to receive feedback from the Bluelion Investors Board, which consists of investors from the Zürcher Kantonalbank, SICTIC, and Venturelab. The best teams will receive additional incubation support from Bluelion such as a dedicated mentor, access to various experts and its co-working space where the teams can further build their venture until they are ready for the seed investment round.
