Call for Projects: Swiss Games 2014/2015 now open for application

For the third time «Call for Projects : Swiss Games»  is looking for Swiss Games combining a high artistic standard with a high distribution potential. The winners will receive grants up to CHF50.000 plus coaching, promotion and access to an international network.

After two first editions of the “Call for Projects: Swiss Games”, which enabled the funding of 14 games, Ludicious - Zürich Game Festival, the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia, the FONDATION SUISA and swissnex San Francisco continue their commitment to supporting the development of computer games in Switzerland by launching a third edition of the Call. Their aim is to facilitate a future generation of computer games of a high artistic standard and with a high distribution potential. A credit line of CHF 200,000 has been opened to finance this third round of grants to be awarded for the creation of Swiss computers games in 2015.

The adjudication will be performed by an international jury of experts. The computer games selected will be presented at the Ludicious - Zürich Game Festival in September 2015.

The FONDATION SUISA awards an additional prize of CHF 15,000 for the best original sound composition among the selected computer games. Swissnex also awards a 4-week booster program to the most innovative game and present it at the Game Developers Conference (GDC).

Besides grants up to CHF50.000.-, the laureates of the call will get access to coaching by international experts, targeted promotion of their products, international network facilities and much more.

The FONDATION SUISA offers a price to the best music composition and swissnex San Francisco will honor the most innovative game with a residency in the bay. 

The online submission portal is now open and developers from all around the country are invited to submit their best projects by 21.12. 2014 at 23.59! Please find the regulation of the call here as well. Central informations regarding the call can be found on www.projectswissgames.ch.
