Investors associated with Business Angels Switzerland (BAS) have financed 13 Swiss start-ups in 2015. In total, the business angels invested an amount in the upper single-digit million range.

Business Angels Switzerland (BAS) is an association founded in 1997 giving young entrepreneurs the opportunity to present their projects and start-up companies to seasoned investors and successful entrepreneurs. The aim of the presentation is to obtain financing for the project, coaching, or both. BAS organises 24 Dinner Meetings every year where 70 – 80 start-ups present their company to investors. The meetings take place in Zurich, the Lake of Constance Area and in Western Switzerland. Since 1997 members of BAS have invested in more than 100 Start-ups.

BAS is neither an investment fund nor a holding company: the decisions to invest are made by its members on a personal basis. BAS is thus not involved at all in its members’ investments. A consequence of this is that there might be investments which the organisation itself don’t know about. The known investments in 2015 are:
