Talkpool to acquire IOT company Sparkzone

Sparkzone’s solution allows users to book a room by using an app called Jeckee. The same app enables the user to turn on the projector, start the coffee machine, open the minibar, pay for snacks, manage lights etc. Profit margins are high as the IoT solution allows office-management companies and hotels to reduce staff and increase efficiency.

The traditional office with each company isolated within four walls and parking places below is no longer the preferred choice. Many modern companies embrace the open co-working culture, and Sparkzone, with support from TalkPool, is well positioned to become the leading IoT solution provider for this kind of new workspace Management.

TalkPool pays CHF 160K now for an option to acquire a majority of Swiss-based Sparkzone’s shares by mid-2017, provided that Sparkzone has reached its agreed targets by then. TalkPool will pay CHF 367’261.50 in TalkPool shares for 60% of Sparkzone´s shares and agrees to invest further in Sparkzone to fuel innovation and growth.
