In response to the deteriorating state of Earth's health, the EPFL Innovation Park is launching a new program tech4regeneration for startups with innovative technologies that can sustainably restore the stability and resilience of the Earth system. Interested ventures can apply before February 10th, 2024.

A paradigm shift is urgently needed to reverse the negative trends in global environmental and social issues (such as loss of biodiversity, scarcity of natural resources, climatic changes, increased pollutants and wastes, economic and social disparities, etc.). Sustainability initiatives will not be sufficient to save our civilization and the Earth as we know it today. A rapid transition towards a regenerative economy is required. To this end, the Tech4Regeneration Program led by Bertrand Klaiber fosters collaborations between different stakeholders to help disruptive startups deploy and scale-up their technologies through regenerative business models and strategies.

The Tech4Regeneration 9-month equity-free acceleration program will tackle issues common to various domains, ranging from energy, construction and IT to agriculture and industrial production, just to name a few.

Participating startups will benefit from multi-disciplinary training and tailored coaching by top-notch experts from different fields and industries, to help develop and deploy business models delivering a net positive impact on the planet and society. They’ll become part of a community of forward-thinking entrepreneurs, corporates and investors who support the transition towards a more regenerative economy.

Interested ventures can apply before 10th February 2024 on the Tech4Regeneration website. Industrial partners will be announced early next year, and selected projects will be disclosed at the kick-off event in March 2024!
