Go Beyond: Three investments and a new Fintech group

In its recent newsletter Go Beyond (GBI) made several interesting announcements. The angel network was involved in three investment rounds – two in Switzerland and one in the US:

• Otosense (US): OtoSense’s proprietary sound recognition software analyzes incoming sounds to detect both known and unknown sound events. This investment was international in scope as investors from France, Switzerland, Belgium and the US invested in this US company.
• Flyability (CH):  Flyability has produced the world’s first collision tolerant drone which offers a solution to quickly and safely gather information from difficult-to-reach places.
• Medirio (CH):  Medirio has developed a revolutionary drug delivery system allowing insulin users to better manage insulin injections.

In addition GBI reports about the Swiss portfolio company Faction. The company developing Faction Skis & Apparel and Roxy Skis after a deal with Quiksilver expands its sales network in 13 key markets in Europe and the US.

ICT/FinTech group to invest in FinTech deals
For 2015 GBI, a FinTech start up itself, as it is transforming angel investing into an asset class for small and large, passive and active investors, has made FinTech deals a priority.
