Largo launches a new SaaS platform, that will enable film producers, writers and distributors to predict the viewers’ reactions and the success rate of a film based a data-driven intelligence technology. With the new platform customers get analysis and forecasts within a few minutes. This announcement comes after the receipt of CHF 0.7 million through grants and equity investments.

In a recent financing round, Largo raised CHF 550’000 led by SICTIC and DAA Capital Partners. The new funds add to the recently obtained CHF 150’000 from the Gebert Rüf Stiftung as part of the Innobooster program – bringing Largo’s total investment to CHF 0.7 million. The funds will flow into the development of new innovative tools, growing the team and accelerating market entry of the company’s solutions.

The launch of new SaaS platform – Largo.A.I
Thanks to the new funds, the startup is also ready for the soft launch of its new SaaS platform – Largo.A.I, a data-driven intelligence technology that will enable film producers, writers and distributors to predict the viewers’ reactions and the success rate of a film. Largo has built a strong AI engine that has a cognitive pattern understanding system from video, audio, and text. The system converts these cognitive patterns to meaningful insights to provide the right recipe for success.

The new SaaS platform brings several improvements to Largo’s current service. Until now, the startup was providing its AI services through electronic reports. However, after the launch, the team will grant customers direct access to its tools, allowing them to get the analysis and forecasts for their scripts and movie projects within a few minutes.

Largo will launch the new platform at this year’s Berlin Film Festival, which is running from 23 – 25 February in Berlin. Largo is participating as one of the selected Horizon 2020 start-ups.

Participating in the festival is a great opportunity for the startup to showcase its innovative solution. Sami Arpa, CEO and Co-founder of Larg,o Films said: “Thanks to the Horizon 2020 program, we will have the chance to pitch Largo to the film industry. At the festival, we will meet many key players in the industry and share the new experience of our SaaS platform with potential customers.”
