November is in line with what has been chartered since the beginning of the year: deal numbers hedging up (+15% compared to year to date last year) and deal value increasing sharply back to pre-2009 crisis levels (nearly +40% on a year to date basis), highlighting the new VC focus on larger, often later stage transactions (including from rapidly maturing e-commerce plays).
