Innosuisse and partners inaugurate the Israel-Swiss Lean Launchpad Program

For the first time, Swiss high-tech start-ups will have access to Israeli start-up accelerator programmes, meet and cooperate with Israeli peers and fully immerse themselves into the vibrant start-up ecosystem in Israel. Registration is now open.

Israel is famously known as the Start-up Nation. Its unique and fast-paced start-up ecosystem consists of over 6,500 start-ups – the largest number of start-up per capita in the world. The Israeli innovation ecosystem has given rise to a unique environment, in which entrepreneurs flourish and thrive.

The country Israel has posed as a role model for Switzerland. Through the Israel-Swiss Lean Launchpad program developed by a coalition of leading Swiss, Israeli, and U.S. institutions including InnosuisseIIAJDAMerage Institute and Swissnex selected high-tech startups are provided with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Israeli and Swiss startup ecosystem between 24th March and 12th June 2020. From Switzerland, Innosuisse is looking for early-stage start-ups operating in the life science and digital health sectors to make up the first cohort. Eligible to apply are companies with an active Innosuisse coaching voucher.

During the 3-week program, the startups will benefit from real world, hands‐on learning enabling them to transform their ideas into great products based on the principles of the renowned Lean Start-up methodology pioneered by Steve Blank and further refined by Eric Ries, Alexander Osterwalder and most recently Marc Gruber.

Among others, the programme offers the following services:

  • Hands-on learning of the lean start-up methodology to identify the ultimate product-market fit for your start-u
  • Personal introductions to potential clients, business partners, investors and innovation stakeholders, such as research institutions, key opinion and market leader
  •  Inspirational lectures by prominent International keynote speaker
  • Tailor-made workshops by leading Israeli, Swiss and U.S. industry expert
  • Individual training & mentoring throughout the program
  • Networking and peer-to-peer exchange with Israeli entrepreneurs

Registration is open until 31 January 2020 and the winners will be announced in February. The program will take place in Israel and Switzerland. The detailed programme agenda is provided on the program website.
