Sensimed announced today the company has signed cooperation agreements in Spain, Portugal, UK and Ireland to strengthen its sales, service and support network in Europe. The Swiss-based company Sensimed AG has developed the SENSIMED Triggerfish, a revolutionary contact lens for monitoring continuously the fluctuations in intraocular pressure to facilitate the management of related diseases such as glaucoma.

Startups.ch hat Swisscom als neuen Partner gewonnen. Der Telekomkonzern unterstützt Gründer, die ihre Firma über Startups.ch gründen mit bis zu 450 Franken. Gleichzeitig wird auch Startups.ch selbst als Sponsor aktiv: Die Firma übernimmt die Gründungskosten für zwei Jungunternehmen im Rahmen des HSG Gründergarage an der Universität St. Gallen.

2011 hat Biketec mit den Flyer Elektrovelos erstmals über 100 Millionen Franken Umsatz erzielt. Um das weitere Wachstum zu finanzieren wird mit der EGS Beteiligungs AG ein potenter Investor zugezogen. Die EGS übernimmt mit einer Kapitalerhöhung einen Aktienanteil von 40 Prozent an der Biketec.
