Andrew Alliance launches free software for test protocols

Exactly one year ago, Andrew Alliance has launched Andrew, the innovative liquid handling robot using manual pipettes. Today, the start-up from Geneva launches Andrew Assistant - the unique free software to design and document biology protocols.

Andrew Alliance’s liquid handling robot had a good start- The innovative product has received the New Product Award at SLAS2013 and MIPTEC2013, the IBO 2013 Industrial Design Award, and the appreciation of many laboratories worldwide.

Andrew assistant is an easy-to-use software, either for Andrew or for manual pipetting. No training is required: user can just describe on their screen by drag-and-drop what they do at the bench. Andrew assistant will automatically generate your protocol documentation, and compute all information (concentrations and volumes, for example) to achieve easily what users want without errors.

Andrew Alliance S.A. is an independent Swiss company, privately financed, based in the canton of Geneva. The company has been created in March 2011 by a founding team that counts more than 100 years of experience in the sector of instrumentation for the Life Sciences. The development of the underlying technology had started in 2010, with the purpose of commercializing easy to use robots to the benefit of the Life Science community.
