Every year since the foundation of Bcomp in 2011, one or more products containing our technologies have been awarded by the ISPO jury. This year, Black Diamond’s Carbon Megawatt ski has won the ISPO award as best freeride ski.
The Carbon Megawatt ski, the new flagship of Black Diamond's deep snow quiver, is a powder specialty ski. It has been trimmed down of some weight. The new 120mm waisted Carbon Megawatt weighs only 1710g, without sacrificing strength or performance. The ski has a bCore D200 (balsa/flax core) from Bcomp.

In 2013 for example, the Lynx from Idris Skis was awarded the "Environmental Excellence" and was chosen as "WINNER" in the Ski segment, category Ski off Piste. Stöckli’s Spirit Otwo was the “GOLD WINNER” in the Ski segment, category Ski on Piste.
The ISPO jury consisting of independent sports business professionals evaluates several hundred entries – also from non-exhibitors – every year following clearly defined criteria.
