13 Fintech start-ups selected for the SFTA mentoring programme

The first Swiss FinTech start-ups participating in the mentoring program launched by Swiss Finance + Technology Association in 2016 were announced. They will meet their mentors during the matching event at Impact Hub Colab in Zurich. The Mentoring programme aims at developing a new wave of world class Swiss FinTech companies.

The first 13 Swiss start-ups in the FinTech field were selected for the mentoring program established and managed by Swiss Finance +Technology Association (SFTA). The program starts with its 1st edition this year as part of the commitment to grow the Swiss FinTech community and promote Switzerland as a world’s leading hub for FinTech innovation. The list of companies participating to the program includes both already launched and operating start-ups and projects in the pre-launch phase.

The selected startups in the 1st edition include;

Carbon Delta AG – a Zurich-based boutique equity research firm that specializes in identifying and analyzing the climate change risks of publicly traded companies.

Centrabit AG – Centrabit is the blockchain-based NASDAQ for music- and other intellectual properties.

CredtiGate24 – P2P lending platform offerings loans to individuals, self-employed and SMEs- truly different from other players offering loans with collaterals, insurance, and risk pooling.

Crowdhouse.ch – Real estate crowdfunding in Switzerland.

FinGraphs.com – FinGraphs offers simple and visual decision helping charts for all investors and traders (for busy people and for investors and traders with no background in technical analysis). B2B2C the platform can be co-branded and seamlessly integrated on any website through our 2 lines HTML5 widget.

InvestorMe – An independent advisor that educates and works with investors in a simple and useful way, so they don't fall for costly tricks, protects their wealth better and become a better investors.

Qard – is an online platform for crowdlending (such as lendix, advanon) with contracts based on Islamic Finance.

QuantWorks – a Zürich-based startup specializing in context analytics. The company’s solution turns news and financial information into insight by combining finance, data and computer science.

Quotip – Quotip helps Wealth Managers (buy-side) generate additional, diversified returns with the artificial intelligence-supported selection of Structured Financial Products (STPs).

Smolio – provides investors who think long term a complete overview of their portfolio with relevant information. They get notifications when significant changes occur and personal recommendations according to their profile.

WealthArc – B2B SaaS for wealth managers and private banks with data consolidation and digital reporting.

Wealthinitiative – Platform supporting top tier wealth management institutions to internally match their clients’ requests in the strategic areas of Real Estate, Art, Passion Investments and business deals.

Xapo – is a Bitcoin wallet that helps users to make digital currency part of their everyday life. Xapo Wallet enables users to manage their funds whenever and wherever they want.

On the 6th of July, the selected start-ups will be meeting their mentors during the matching event in Zurich. More than 50 experienced entrepreneurs, business angels, experts in financial industry, technology, marketing, fundraising and legal field are looking forward to sharing their knowledge and experience helping the Swiss start-ups to reach the next level and become world-class successful players in FinTech.

Mentoring program is a continuous project and SFTA is constantly looking for new start-ups and mentors to join at any time and contribute to grow and develop Swiss FinTech community. Entrepreneurs and experts interested in participating in the program can submit their applications online.
