Players in the Swiss medtech industry will convene at Messe Luzern from 19 to 20 September 2017 for the Swiss Medtech Expo 2017. Six competence partners and 160 exhibitors will show practical examples of how new designs, materials, technologies and processes are leading to innovations in the medical field. The new MedTech.plus platform will also be launched.
The second edition of the Swiss Medtech Expo will bring the decision makers of manufacturers together with leading providers and experts from the medtech supplier industry. The event demonstrates how new technologies and solutions lead to innovation in the medical technology industry. Over 1500 visitors will participate.
The exhibition demonstrates how new technologies and applications enable innovation in the medtech industry. Six focal topics demonstrating the potential for medical technology will be addressed. Each focal points will be presented by competence partners, universities and experts who will bring their entire know-how to the Swiss Medtech Expo.
"Again this year, we want to make the Swiss Medtech Expo the place where the exchange of knowledge and ideas for future innovative projects takes place. We want our visitors to gain inspiration and ideas for their own projects. We are convinced that this is only achievable through an intensive reference to practice", explains exhibition director Fabrizio Raffa.

Discovering new solutions with MedTech.plus platform
The Swiss Medtech Expo will be extended into the digital world with the platform MedTech.plus. MedTech.plus supports players in the medtech industry – including engineers, product managers, procurement and quality assurance professionals in medical technology companies – to realize the full potential of new technologies and solution in medical technology whilst networking with experts. The platform will officially launched on the 19th of September 2017 at the Swiss Medtech Night.
The Swiss Medtech Expo is designed for anyone working in medical technology, especially engineers, developers, product managers, quality responsibles, sourcing & procurement professionals and responsibles for regulatory affairs.
