Yesterday the GIORNATA DELLECONOMIA e DELLINNOVAZIONE 2012 took place in Lugano. One element of the event was the Award for the best business idea in Ticino. The winner is: Newscron.
The theme of the GIORNATA DELL’ECONOMIA e DELL’INNOVAZIONE 2012 which was held in Lugano yesterday was “Research – Business – Finance”. Several prominent speakers highlighted the different facets of the topic. Speakers included Piero Martinoli, president of the Università della Svizzera italiana, Patrick Aebischer, president EPFL, and Diego Braguglia, General Partner of Venture Incubator. In parallel there was a “Demo Day” at the atrium of the Palazzo dei Congressi in Lugano which allowed innovative companies to present their products.
The third element of the day was the award for the best business idea from Ticino. The prize, worth CHF 10.000 was given to Newscron.
