Coteries selected for important French music industry conference

The 4th edition of this music conference will happen in Paris from 16th to 18th of October 2013, gathering 3'500 music industry professionals around more than 40 debates and conferences on current and future challenges faced by the industry.

Organized by MaMA and Cap Digital (an innovation promotion agency in Paris area), the pitch session aims to present 7 innovative web/mobile music startups to a public comprising labels, producers and publishers, artist managers and of course, musicians themselves.

Young Swiss startup Coteries, which launched the iPhone application of singer-/songwriter Bastian Baker at Montreux Jazz Festival back in July, has been selected by the jury for its original concept. Mobile apps developed by Coteries follow a unique approach in the booming field of music and community-based servicesas it allows anyone to become part of the musician's world. The artist offers its fans unique, exclusive and authentic content that they can’t find elsewhere. Concept developed by Coteries allows artists to own their community of fans while generating a new revenue stream (fans subscribe to an exclusive and authentic feed of content).
