Since 1 October participants of the Swiss Startup Day can book one to one meetings. As some of the participants are sought after discussion partners it is recommended to book early.
One of the highlights of the Swiss Startup Day will be again the one to one meetings session. The booking period has started. More than 160 appointments are already fixed. Bookings are assigned after the "First Come - First Served" principle with a Right of Refusal. It is recommended to book early as some of the participants will get a lot of requests. Deadline for booking is 21 October 2016.
This year the time of the speed dating has been reduced and the number of tables has been increased to 100 which makes more meetings possible. In all 1000 meetings can take place.
It is likely that the number of meetings will be higher than last year. More than 530 participants registered, clearly more than 2015 at this point in time. Apart from almost 300 start-ups 85 investors have already registered.
The number of start-ups that applied for the elevator pitches was high too. More than 100 start-ups wanted to take part. On Thursday the Elevator Pitch in Basel will take place followed by the Elevator Pitch in Zurich on Saturday. The best start-ups will be selected for the pitch competition on the Swiss Startup Day.
For start-ups are less than 25 early bird tickets left.
