More and more support programmes and awards in Switzerland are open for start-ups from abroad. Deadlines for four of these programmes are coming closer.

Switzerland is attractive country for foreign entrepreneurs. In the last weeks, we have published several articles about start-ups which moved to Switzerland, the most recent about Enterprise Bot. The F10 accelerator program played an important role for Enterprise Bot and the program is one of the support offerings which are open for applications now.

Batch IV startups, solving problems in the financial, banking, and insurance industries, will undergo this training and support process from December 3rd, 2018 through May 16th, 2019.

Startup DAYs pitching competition

With more than 1000 participants, Startup DAYs offers a unique opportunity to dive into the Swiss start-up community at one event. Startup DAYs will take place on 25 and 26 September in Bern. One reason why foreign start-ups are attracted is the redesigned pitching competition. The winner will receive CHF 100,000 in cash and in-kind prizes. The start-ups will compete against each other in five tracks: autonomous systems, healthtech, sustainable tech, fintech and content & channels. The overall winner will be chosen by the audience from the winners of the five tracks, which will be determined by experts.
