With the closing of its Fund I at CHF 29 million, QBIT Capital has strengthened its position in the venture capital market. Fund I aims to invest solely in 12 to 15 Swiss tech startups addressing global problems.

QBIT Capital is a venture capital firm with headquarters in Zurich and an office in Los Angeles.specializing in early-stage investments in Swiss technology companies. QBIT introduced the concept of active investors, with handpicked entrepreneurs (limited partners) who actively dedicate their time to supporting portfolio companies to achieve success. As part of its strategy, QBIT Capital supports its founders with three unique cornerstones: Active Investors, Global Venture Partners, and a strategic partnership with Speedinvest Pirates.

The firm has been growing, with six Swiss companies in the portfolio. The closing of its oversubscribed round is a further testimony to the firm’s commitment to elevate the Swiss startup ecosystem. Initially aiming to raise $25, Fund I closed at $29 million with contributions from private investors and professional/ultra-high-net-worth individuals with a strong understanding of venture capital and early-stage investing.

Fund I aims to invest solely in 12 to 15 Swiss tech startups addressing global problems. Recognizing the unique challenges and opportunities faced by Swiss companies, QBIT Capital prioritizes early market access as a key strategy for these startups. To facilitate this, its team of Venture Partners, comprising six entrepreneurs from diverse regions, including Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the US, bring global insights and networks. This perspective is instrumental in guiding these companies towards effective scalability and international market penetration.

Strategic Partnership with Speedinvest Pirates
To bolster the expertise and support of its founders, QBIT has formed a strategic partnership with Speedinvest Pirates, a growth hacking agency based in Vienna. Known for their successful track record in supporting early-stage startups across Europe, Speedinvest Pirates will provide valuable support to the QBIT portfolio.
