Registration is open for SICTIC investor events

The business angel club SICTIC has seen continuous growth in the number of angel investors joining the club (from 91 to 171 in 2017) and in attendance at its events, the angel trainings and Investor days. While angel trainings equip investors with necessary skills on investing, the venture days give them the opportunity to meet early and later stage technology based startups that are looking for funds and professional support.

At each investor day, startups are selected to pitch to the audience and answer their questions. After the first round of pitches, the audience votes for the most promising start-ups to pitch in a second round with an 8-minute presentation.

Applications for startups interested in pitching at the upcoming events is now open for the following SICTIC investor Days.

SICTIC Investor Day with Blockchain Challenge
This year SICTIC is organising a special event dedicated to Blockchain, «SICTIC Investor Day with Blockchain Challenge» in partnership with Crypto Valley Association. For this event, eight selected startups (4 early + 4 later stage) will pitch at the conference and compete for the CVA Blockchain Awards. The best startups will receive a prize money of CHF30'000 – CHF20’000 Award for early stage startups and CHF10’0000 for later stage start-ups. Registration closes on April 30th 2018.

Swiss Fintech Investor Day, November 14th, 2018, Zurich
The Swiss Fintech Investor Day is organised once every year for Swiss Fintech startups to pitch to the audience comprising of angel investors, Family offices, fund managers and Venture Capitalists interested in investing in fintech startups. Ten startups will will be selected and provided two free tickets to the event. Application deadline is October 15th, 2018.
