Scandit wins start-up competition in Silicon Valley

A few weeks ago Scandit announced that it was selected for the G-Startup competition in Silicon Valley. On Friday Scandit CEO Samuel Müller convinced the jury: The company from Zurich has won.

The G-Startup competition is part Global Mobile Internet Conference – Silicon Valley. The competition is broken into two tracks, for early-stage and growth-stage startups. Scandit has participated in the growth-stage track, with CEO Samuel Müller pitching the judges and participating in Q&A. He was competing against 9 other startups.
 
As the winner Scandit got a pitch on the main stage, opportunities to join incubators and other perks. Twenty percent of the score has come from online voters.
 
The Global Mobile Internet Conference was running October 20th and 21st at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. The weekend featured keynotes by executives from Facebook, Electronic Arts, Evernote, Box, and Xiaomi, as well as a developer’s track, app competitions and more.
