Olympic Triathlon Gold Medallist prepares with SenseCore

Jan’s sporting career began as a swimmer in Cape Town, South Africa, where he grew up. As a teenager he joined the Clifton Surf Lifesavers and started competing on the beaches of South Africa. He had to sell his bike in order to buy a plane ticket to Europe to race in the German league where he first tasted success. When Frodeno became U-23 vice world champion in 2004 he knew he wanted to become a professional Triathlete.

After a few successes on the World Cup scene, Jan won the Beijing Olympics in 2008. He continued to win numerous World Championship events and moved on from the Olympic distance to the Ironman distance with the ultimate goal to win the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii.
