Logmind award

Lausanne based Logmind recently convinced the jury members invited from Silicon Valley and became the winner of the GITA's Matching Grant Program by Government of Georgia. The startup led by Ketevani Zaridze will fly to New York at the end of the year for a Scrum & Agile certification program with three other finalists.

On September 2nd, Logmind won the Matching Grants Program by the Georgian Innovations and Technologies Agency (GITA) and the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. This program is the initiative of Prime Minister of Georgia since 2016 as part of the Government's economic reform. From several hundreds of received applications, 20 startups were selected by international experts invited from Silicon Valley and each startup was funded with 100,000 GEL, equivalent to CHF 34,000. In addition to the cash prize, Logmind was also selected by the US Embassy among three other top finalists to fly to New York for the Scrum & Agile certification program in October.

As Ketevani Zaridze, Logmind’s CEO explains winning this award is an important step for the startup as it enables it to expand and support its software engineering team in Georgia. In addition to the cash prize, the Scrum Certification Program in New York will help the team to better lead and manage its teammates both in Switzerland and Georgia. “The participation and success in this program was also a great occasion for us to build a link with Silicon Valley-based high tech incubators and business accelerators such as 500 Startups, Band of Angels (California's oldest Angel investment group and one of the oldest in the US), Garage Technology Ventures (cofounded by Guy Kawasaki), US Market Access Center who are helping international startups with US expansion” explains the CEO.

On the growth course

Logmind’s next steps are to grow the team and attract more companies from Switzerland as partners. “Partnerships will help to mature our solution, as well as to start preparing for seed financing round in order to further accelerate the development of the company from the next year” says Ketevani Zaridze. Logmind is a big data analytics platform for visibility and automated insights into unstructured machine log data, using an artificial intelligence approach. The startup joined MassChallenge Switzerland 4th Cohort in June
