Swiss made software offers start-ups a free membership

The "swiss made software" label is dedicated to promoting the Swiss software sector both in Switzerland and abroad. It is associated with Swiss values such as quality, reliability and precision – in particular in software development. Launched in 2007, the label now has more than 160 members, which mark their products with "swiss made software".

swiss made software wishes to support the Swiss start-up scene. The organisation will give a free membership for a period of two years to any start-up that can fulfill the following conditions:

• The Swiss share in the production value must be at least 60 percent.
• The key production process must have taken place in Switzerland.
• The start-up must be founded but not older than four years.
• The start-up must have an innovative product or solution.
• Said product or solution must be available for commercial use now.

During the two years start-ups can use the logo “swiss made software” and have the option of being listed on the SwissMadeSoftware.org website as a Swiss software firm. More information can be found on the website of the organisation.
