Strategic partnerships between digital technology startups and established companies in the fields of logistics, energy management and digital signage are making waves. Zurich-based Nexxiot partners with Deloitte, aliunid joins forces with Landis + Gyr and SpinetiX collaborates with Sharp/NEC.

Global accounting and advisory firm Deloitte and TradeTech startup Nexxiot have unveiled their partnership, introducing the KYX initiative, a fusion of Deloitte’s Know Your Client (KYC) and Know Your Cargo, powered by Nexxiot 's asset intelligence technology and trusted CINFONI (Client Information Network Intelligence) platform. CINFONI has regulatory approval for generating, implementing, recycling, and exchanging 'Golden Records' within the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sectors. This collaboration aims to enhance global cargo trade compliance and operational efficiency, offering real-time data insights that foster visibility, transparency, and operational excellence in the logistics sector. This partnership will enhance global trade compliance and operational efficiency. It offers the logistics industry a means to embrace a future marked by improved efficiency, resilience, and integrity, all made possible by this strategic collaboration.

Landis+Gyr and aliunid spearhed real-time energy solutions
Brugg-based startup aliunid and Landis + Gyr meters, a leading global provider of energy management solutions, have successfully completed a pilot test with the aliunid GATEWAY for the household meter Landis+Gyr E450, series 4 and series 5 (interface: wired mbus, optical interface) for the acquisition of real-time data. GATEWAY is a multitool that can read a variety of electricity meters and data interfaces by means of flashing light, infrared, mBus or Modbus. Combined with an aliunid GATEWAY, Landis+Gyr’s smart meter extends its potential beyond reading every 15 minutes for billing purposes and becomes a real-time electricity tachometer. This collaboration harnesses the power of real-time data collection and smart meters, enabling aliunid to offer energy-saving solutions to corporate and private customers.

SpinetiX and Sharp/NEC present scalable digital signage solution
In a joint effort to make digital signage more accessible, secure, and scalable, SpinetiX and Sharp/NEC have introduced a new ready-to-use solution. SpinetiX, a Swiss digital signage solutions provider, has collaborated with Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe GmbH, the leading global provider of professional and commercial visual technology and digital signage, to deliver a “ready-to-use” solution for a broad customer base in the expanding digital signage landscape. This new solution features the SpinetiX DSOS dedicated operating system which is built into Sharp/NEC displays with an integrated Intel SDM. DSOS, demonstrating increased simplicity and versatile scalability, enables quick deployment of digital signage on any number of screens without recurring fees, and can adapt to evolving customer needs. The collaboration reflects the mutual goal of both companies to develop durable and more secure products for the professional audio-video industry.
