Three startup have joined startup accelerator programs to advance their solutions with industry experts. Cysec joined Oracle for startups, Syntheticus was selected for the EU India Innocenter, and Holodia entered the Comcast NBCUniversal accelerator. Avrios, on the other hand, was recognised as the World Economic Technology Pioneer 2021.

Cysec developed ARCA Trusted OS, a software-based solution for protecting containerized platforms, applications and workloads in the cloud or in embedded platforms. The solution is being used to secure Finance, IoT and Space applications. The Ecublens based startup has joined the Oracle for Startups, a program supporting B2B technology startups that focus on a large addressable market on the cloud to grow. Leveraging its 40+ years of enterprise experience, Oracle brings startups closer to customers, offers mentorship, technical support and events to expand their network. The program helps them with cost savings by providing them free cloud credits and 70% off for two years, also connects them with venture capitalists through hosting investor consortiums, readiness training, and demo days.

Syntheticus joins EU India Innocenter
Headquartered in Zürich Syntheticus is dedicated to bringing entities the latest in privacy-enhancing technologies. The company provides a Swiss cloud-hosted, GPU-accelerated SaaS solution that uses cutting-edge AI to generate synthetic data for different file formats and ensures that entities stay compliant while leveraging their data potential to boost innovation. Syntheticus has been accepted by the prestigious program EU-India Innocenter, a Euro-Indian community of ecosystem builders helping European tech companies into the Indian market. Founded in 2020, co-founders Nitin Kumar, Valerio Mazzone and Aldo Lamberti, the team aims to exploit opportunities offered by the EU-India Innocenter programmes to prepare, create a strategic network and successfully enter the Indian market. India shows an exponential growth rate (11.5%), is the 2nd largest internet consumer market and 3rd largest startup ecosystem.

Holodia joins Comcast NBCUniversal accelerator
FitTech startup Holodia developed HOLOFIT, an immersive, hardware agnostic, connected FitTech virtual reality platform that merges gaming and fitness leading to increased user engagement and physical activity. The startup was chosen from hundreds of applicants from over 40 countries to join the 11 startups in the fourth Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator, powered by Techstars. The 12-week program offers startups with mentorship led by over 100+ experts and industry leaders from across Comcast. Mentors include leaders from the Xfinity technology, product, and experience teams; the NBC and Telemundo broadcast stations; NBCUniversal cable networks; Universal Studios; Universal Theme Parks; DreamWorks Animation; Comcast Business; Comcast Ventures; Strategic Development; and Sky; and mentors from Techstars’ expansive global network.

Avrios is World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers of 2021
The 2021 cohort of young and growing tech companies selected as the World Economic Forum Technology Pioneers include a blend of startups from all over the world that combine their entrepreneurial skills with science and engineering to address global problems for a variety of fields. Switzerland’s Avrios is the only Swiss startup that made it to the list. With Francine Gervazio as the new CEO since this year, Avrios provides a comprehensive fleet management platform that allows customers to integrate data, automate processes to generate complete, just-in-time insights to improve their fleet.
