In September the first World Medtech Forum will take place in Lucerne. The event combines an exhibition, a conference and various meetings. It is an excellent opportunity to present products or services to Swiss and international manufacturers of medical devices. Start-up companies that were founded after 2002 can purchase an all-inclusive package at a special price of CHF 4500.

The World Medtech Forum Lucerne (WMTF) combines a trade fair and congress, and offers space for various meetings. At the three-day exhibition, the suppliers – mainly Swiss -, institutes for research, development and education, and institutional partners and funding agencies will present their products and services to international manufacturers of medical devices. The conference will focus on developments in relevant global medical technology markets, and provide support with decision-making on export projects. This event is the first in Switzerland to present a comprehensive, international platform which brings together all market players to share their experiences both in their specialist fields and on interdisciplinary matters. 140 Swiss medical supply firms have already registered for WMTF.

For new companies that do not have the financial means for regular participation a special platform at the WMTF was created: the Start-Up Park will provide a venue for start-ups to present themselves to Swiss and international manufacturers. Start-up companies that were founded after 2002 can purchase an all-inclusive package at a special price of CHF 4500 (excl. VAT). The WMTF takes place
