Location
startup space, Wiesenstrasse 5, Schlieren

In this workshop founders learn how to pitch their startup to investors. Iris Welten will guide them through the workshop and will help them improve their pitch in realtime. Startup founders will also pitch their startups.

Iris Welten is member of the board of directors in an enterprise active in the health care field and heads the oversight committee for all finance related matters on the board level. Further she is the founder, owner and CEO of WBC & Partners. Previously she was CEO of BaselArea (economic development for Northwest Switzerland with a presence in 8 countries), a member of the enlarged executive board of a privately held company (Zur Rose) and a senior executive of Stock Exchange listed large corporations in Europe, USA and Asia (Swiss Life, Clariant, Deutsche Telekom, Adidas). She has over 20 years in-depth international experience in strategy, IPO, M&A, capital raising and the Swiss political landscape.

Come and share your pitching experience with other startup entrepreneurs, get advice from the expert to improve your pitching and develop your network in this unique workshop.

Each participant will pitch 5 minutes his slidedeck outlining the investment case in their own (or virtual) company and will then be asked 1-3 questions. The participant will get feedback to the presentations style, key message delivery, Q&A, etc. Participants need to prepare an “elevator pitch” in advance. The course is only taking place with a minimum of 5 participants.

Founders Circle is a community of entrepreneurs. The workshops are invitation-only events. The attendance is limited and will be confirmed. Please apply for this workshop.
