First Equity Crowdfunding Platform from Ticino Open Its Doors

SWISS STARTER, the first equity crowdfunding website in Ticino, aims at being an important help to all startups looking for funding and willing to have new shareholders on board. ‘We want to be the “Startup Zero” of a new wave of innovation for Ticino and for Switzerland’, said Mr. Toscani, the company COO, during his speech.

The first event is only the beginning. In a blog post the team writes: “We are planning on organizing multiple events in the following months. Some of them will be social events in the after-work hours, others will be workshops on Saturday morning in a new facility that will be ready soon, where we can have a coffee together and answer your questions.”

SWISS STARTER has been founded by a team of professionals, coming from many different backgrounds, but sharing previous startup experiences in information technology, management consulting, corporate advisory, business development and marketing.

The website is now accepting submissions and the first projects have been already published at www.swiss-starter.ch.
