Innosuisse R&D projects
Innosuisse helps to fund innovation projects carried out by companies, private or public organisations in cooperation with research institutions. Innosuisse covers the research partner’s salary and, under certain conditions, material costs as well as a contribution to overheads. The company provides at least the same amount of funding and thus bears the costs for its project itself.
With the newly launched Inpulse Program, Innosuise aims to stimulate innovation activities in view of the current Covid-19 pandemic. The contributions of the implementation partners will be reduced in comparison to the standard innovation projects. The new program applies to projects launching from January 2021.
Innosuisse supports projects from all areas of research-based innovation topics. The assessment is primarily based on the degree of innovation, the scientific significance of the innovation, the market potential and the contribution to the promotion of sustainable development.
Companys must meet the following criteria:
- Your company or non-profit organisation adds value to the Swiss market and has a UID number.
- A research institution wants to be an implementation partner for your innovation project.
- You will bear any project costs incurred by your company and are prepared to provide the research partner with costs in the amount of at least 10% of Innosuisse’s funding.
- You focus on science-based innovation – the practical application of the latest technologies and findings from research.
