SGDA Swiss Game Award
The SGDA Swiss Game Awards (SWIGA) is the game developers award of Switzerland. It honours outstanding projects that have put the Swiss game industry on the radar. The SGDA has been awarding the Swiss industry prize since 2013 to honour Swiss excellence in games. Four category prizes will be awarded: Bet Entertainment Game, Best Serious Game Award, Most Anticipated Game and Excellence Award.
Criteria
(1) Your project has been publicly released since the month of January 2022. Demos, prototypes or games in early access are not valid submissions.
(2) The submitted project was never nominated in an earlier edition of the SGDA Swiss Game Awards in the Entertainment or Serious Game Awards category.
(3) At least 60% of the production costs must be accounted for by Swiss nationals or Swiss residents (Swiss passport, residency permit).
(4) You may submit as many games as you wish. Please fill in a separate form for each game. If your game was never nominated in an earlier edition of the Swiss Game Awards you can re-submit your game in this edition.
(5) A maximum of 5 games will be nominated in each category. In the event of a tie, the number might be increased.
[Special Guideline for the Most Anticipated Game Award]
(1) Your project has been publicly showcased via a game demo, a trailer, a crowdfunding campaign and/or an early access campaign. Your project will not have been released in a "final" state in November 2023.
