Bugbuster, Jilion, Sensima Technology and Swissto12 win Prix Vittoz

The Prix Vittoz supports companies from the Canton of Vaud in entering the US market. Every year 3 to 4 start-ups are funded with up to CHF33’000 each. This week the winners of the Prix Vittoz 2012 were announced.

The PSE, in conjunction with the Economic Promotion of Canton de Vaud (SELT), organizes the “PRIX VITTOZ” to support start-ups in growing their business outside Europe.

Every year 3 to 4 Start-ups will be funded to make 2-3 trips to the USA to:

  • Assess and validate market opportunities
  • Meet potential partners, agents, clients or future employees
  • Rapidly build a powerful and effective US network

The process will be driven and supported by your PSE coach and a consultant in the USA.

 The companies are funded with up to CHF 33’000 per Start-up for business development and travel expenses in the USA

The winners of the Prix Vittoz 2012 are:

Bugbuster: The team is developing a solution also named Bug Buster. It is  a revolutionary – robotized – software testing solution for the fast growing market of web applications.   

Jilion: The product of the start-up called SublimeVideo is a cloud based HTML 5 video player. The biggest advantage of the player is the universal compliancy of videos no matter the browser.

Sensima Technology: A fabless semiconductor company specialized in the design and distribution of fully integrated CMOS magnetic sensors.

Swissto12: The company opens the frontiers of terahertz applications with a comprehensive range of products that covers the terahertz transmission and probing domain up to 10THz.
