Based in Zug, Aximetria set the mission to provide everyone globally with financial services of the future and to make the financial system more open, transparent and effective. The startup developed a crypto-friendly mobile finance service that combines the capabilities of payments using a bank card and the technological advantages of cryptocurrency to ensure fast, secure and easy cross-border payments, transfers and savings. The application supports transactions and exchange operations both in fiat (US dollars, euros and rubles) and in digital currencies.

Currently, more than 100'000 across Latin America, South Africa, Europe, Asia are using the solution. The company has also seen a tremendous monthly growth of 30%. At the closing of 2019, the startup had generated $15 million, 15x more than in the first half of that year.

The company has also a strong financial base for itself to sustain its future and advance the technology, thanks to the $2million from the international investment company Digital Horizon. At the beginning of 2020, the startup obtained a  grant from Innosuisse to join the scale-up coaching program in order to further advance its technology and accelerate growth.

While Aximetria attributes its success to several factors, Axelrod affirms that it all comes down to having the right team "with the right chemistry". The company employs 17 full-time employees currently.
