KimboCare inks key collaboration with Swiss Re Foundation

Supported by the Swiss Re’s Life & Health Sustainability Initiative, the Swiss Re Foundation collaborates with KimboCare, an early stage venture whose mission is to enable better health and well-being for financially underserved communities, to reinforce its commitment to advancing healthcare access in developing regions. "We believe in KimboCare's potential to make healthcare more available, accessible, and affordable." says a Manager at the Swiss Re Foundation.

Thanks to its innovative concept of “health credits”, a Blockchain-enabled technology, the KimboCare platform allows a better traceability of medical services delivered to a low-income patient, promoting health equities in global health access. The EPFL-born startup KimboCare, which is very active in its primary market of health credits purchased by African diasporas for their loved ones, is scaling up its engagement with SMEs, large enterprises, and other organizations to accelerate its impact.

A significant step forward

This collaboration is a turning point in KimboCare’s work to bring end-to-end traceability in the access and delivery of quality medical services to low-income patients. “We are very excited to see this strategic development further validated by contracts with high profile organizations.
