qiibee partners up with Miles & More

The leading B2B marketplace for customer loyalty, qiibee, has created a seamless integration for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to join the Miles & More loyalty programme. This partnership will enable travellers to redeem miles during their travels and in everyday life with diverse partners including Swiss Fortress, Fashionette and more.  

The Zug-based startup qiibee enables brands to connect their loyalty programs through blockchain and to scale partnership networks efficiently. Loyalty programs connecting with the qiibee marketplace benefit from partner-integration in one click, zero reconciliation costs and increased security while boosting customer engagement and new member acquisition. Moreover, qiibee users are exempt from a central data authority, receiving tokens with a real value instead of the traditional point system. Thus, the decentralised solution gives users with the freedom to exchange these tokens within the qiibee ecosystem. In 2021, the company launched the first connection between different loyalty programs through its technology with Louis Erard, a Swiss luxury watch-maker and earlier this year qiibee developed an innovative customer loyalty initiative for Renault Italia. Using blockchain technology, the program enables simple management via Sharepoint between Renault, customers and program partners.  

qiibee is now partnering up with Miles and More, the loyalty programme of the Lufthansa Group, bringing with it 36 million members worldwide. The startup will create tailor-made marketing packages for SMEs within the Miles & More program. Interested enterprises can easily initiate a collaboration via their platform. As qiibee's marketplace is built on the qiibee Rewards Chain, the loyalty rewards generated through these partnerships benefit from decentralized validation and storage. Compared to traditional loyalty rewards programs, this technological integration eliminates the cost of reconciliation between partners, creating a better connection between businesses and customers. In addition to the improved exchangeability offered by a single decentralized loyalty ecosystem, qiibee will oversee the contractual, commercial, technical and promotional management of these partnerships. 

Miles and More has already onboarded the luxury fashion platform Fashionette.de, VIP Hospitality marketplace Daimani Group, and Swiss-based digital asset wallet, Swiss Fortress, among others, since the launch of the partnership. In the pipeline are also companies like speciality Tanzanian coffee house Edelweiss Coffee, crowd-investing platform Conda.ch, and successful family-run eyewear sellers Brillen.de.  Looking forward, qiibee will focus on expanding its ecosystem by adding a Shopify plugin for SMEs to connect with Miles & More without requiring an integration, thus increasing accessibility to qiibee’s offerings.
