Asian markets attract Swiss startups

To meet the demand for their solutions and to expedite their growth, Loriot, ANYbotics and Terra Quantum have found a new base in the Asian market. The startups’ expansion is supported by distribution partners on site.  

Loriot, a Swiss IoT company providing software for scalable, distributed, resilient operation of LoRaWAN networks and end-to-end applications, has initiated a partnership with Jordan IoT, the licensed operator and provider of LPWAN IoT solutions in the Jordan market, which is projected to reach a volume of US$6.68 billion in 2028. Together with its new partner, the Zurich-based company aims to foster the growth and development of IoT technology in the Middle East by completing Jordan IoT’s expertise with its robust and scalable network management capabilities and advanced features, such as real-time monitoring, device management, and secure data transmission, ensuring reliability and efficiency in IoT deployments. Khalid Amayreh, Vice Chairman of Jordan IoT emphasized the importance of partnering with Loriot. He stated, “After conducting extensive tests and trials with various other options, we selected Loriot as our LoRaWAN Network Server. LORIOT has demonstrated its ability to provide state-of-the-art LNS features and capabilities, meet all telecom regulations requirements, and cater to all our market needs.” 

Bringing Automated Inspection to Industry in Taiwan

The expansion in Taiwain aligns with the company’s growth strategy of bringing its solutionto multiple markets worldwide – it has most recently entered the Canadian market, as revealed in its LinkedIn post. 

Terra Quantum partners up with leading Korean cloud solutions provider
Terra Quantum AG is focused on providing an end-to-end technology platform delivering real quantum advantage to its customers. The St. Gallen-based startup and MegazoneCloud Corporation, a high-profile South Korean cloud managed services provider, announced a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The collaboration opens the possibility for both companies to build joint technological solutions to drive quantum innovation for both the private sector, such as financial services and manufacturing, and the public sector, such as weather forecasting and smart city projects. With South Korea’s recent investment of over $2.3 billion in the global quantum economy, covered in the 2024 State of Quantum Report from Lakestar, the Terra Quantum MegazoneCloud MoU highlights the role European quantum technology can play in the Asian market.
