Five ClimateTech startups to dive into the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Bay Area

The bootcamps are 2-week programs offering selected startups in a given industry the opportunity to explore the potential of their idea in the US market, get expert feedback and gain visibility. The program includes toolbox sessions, fireside chats, networking events and a demo night where startups present their ideas to industry experts and key opinion leaders.

The spring edition for the Startup Bootcamp ClimateTech kicked off on 15 April and will run until 26 April. The cohort comprises five startups. These are:

irmos technologies AG – specializes in structural health monitoring software to make buildings and bridges safer and more sustainable.

Borobotics GmbH – is developing autonomous compact drilling robots to bring geothermal energy to more people and help address climate change.

Biosimo Chemicals – is focused on sustainable biomolecule production using renewable resources to reduce the reliance on fossil fuels.

Vatorex – is innovating in the commercial beekeeping sector with its heating coil beehives, helping keep colonies healthier.

KITRO – developed an automated food waste tracking solution, featuring a device and dashboard to supporting the hospitality industry's sustainability efforts.

Meanwhile, the evaluation phase for the industry agnostic Bootcamp is ongoing while application submission for Digital Trust and AI Bootcamp, scheduled for September 9-20, 2024 is open until May 17. Eligible to apply are startups enrolled in the Innosuisse Coaching Program and startups that achieved the Innosuisse certificate for sustainable growth within the past three years.
