Former top manager from Tesla joins CARIFY

The HSG spin-off CARIFY has got reinforcement onboard with the addition of Jochen Rudat as executive board advisor. A veteran in the automobile industry, Rudat held a leading position at Tesla for over ten years, reporting directly to Elon Musk. 

CARIFY operates the platform for car subscriptions in Switzerland with the highest number of vehicles. Founded in 2019 by Sergio Studer and Raffael Fiechter, the startup collaborates with Swiss garage groups to offer its customers cars of all brands in flexible all-inclusive monthly subscriptions.

Looking ahead, the company counts on the support of the newly welcomed member of its team; the automobile veteran Jochen Rudat. He has joined CARIFY taking on the role of Executive Board Advisor. Following his career at Daimler, Rudat joined Tesla where he led a ten-year career holding different positions with the most recent being Director, Central Europe, and he reported directly to Elon Musk. In addition to CARIFY, Rudat is an active member of the startup scene and founder of Electric Ventures though which he offers project-based sales, marketing and strategy advice, as well as Advisory Board mandates for selected e-mobility tech companies and their C-level or Founders. In Switzerland he is already supportung Piëch Automotive.

Jochen Rudat will dedicate one day per week

The young company's growth prospects are also believed in by the Swiss Economic Forum, which recently, and as the youngest company in history, awarded CARIFY the "SEF.High-Potential" quality label. The label is only awarded to young companies with a proven growth potential. The evaluation process is carried out by an interdisciplinary team of entrepreneurs and experts in three stages and is SQS-certified.
