Goomoo opens its free beta to advertisers

Goomoo, a newly created mobile advertisment provider, offering a new and original advertising channel for its clients opens its free beta to raise interest and gather feedback.

The startup «Goomoo», based in Lausanne, brings a new concept called «Social Gaming Marketing» to the market. The start-up offers the possibility to create «Goomoo campaigns» to help advertisers communicate about products, services, brands, events and companies in an entertaining way.

The key element of the campaigns are «Goomoos», little avatars, that users can transfer from one phone to another in order to win gifts. Advertisers gain a visibility triggered by the necessary word of mouth that the users create when trying to transfer the Goomoos from their phone to their friend's one. The viral distribution starts with special QR codes that users scan to bring an avatar to their phone.

The only advertiser's job is to provide interesting gifts and a starting point for their campaign. The rest is self sustained by the gifts offered randomly by the Goomoos that will, if good enough, keep the users interested in making the Goomoo travel further.
