Microsoft published its new Windows Partner Directory, making the Lotaris in-appCommerce service the only endorsed alternative to the default Microsoft eCommerce engine in the Windows Store.

The Windows Partner Directory features a small number of selected Windows Store tools for developers such as for Adobe, Bing, Microsoft Live, App Annie, Localytics, Distimo, Buddy, Parse, Fortumo and Inmobi. The listing makes the tools visible to millions of developers worldwide.

"We are extremely pleased to be selected by Microsoft as the only partner to provide a comprehensive commerce service to the Windows Store developer community" said Lotaris CEO, Mr. Robert Tibbs. "Microsoft has demonstrated commitment towards Lotaris, and the reverse is true as we committed to extend our technology to address Windows 8. We are delighted to help them build a more developer-friendly ecosystem around its Windows Store. We are equally happy with the level of ongoing support that Lotaris is enjoying from Microsoft", he said. "This appointment is another important step in the global recognition of our award-winning technology. It puts Lotaris in the league of companies that are considered leaders in the mobile content space. And for the first time in the history of our company, the support of Microsoft makes Lotaris visible to millions of developers worldwide."

Lotaris in-appCommerce for Windows 8 offers app developers a compelling alternative to the Windows Commerce Engine, enabling direct user relationships and maximizing revenues with a full range of app licensing and payment functions.

Lotaris was founded in 2008 and is based in Yverdon-les-Bains.
