Registration deadline for the Prix Liechti, the Innoprix Soba and two Swiss Startups Awards is 30 June. The deadline of the Axpo Energy Award for Startups has been postponed to 7 July. Young companies can win several thousand Swiss Francs.
The “Swiss Startups Awards” are organised by Startups.ch, AXA and Axpo. This year three prizes will be awarded: The Startups.ch Award, the AXA Innovation Award and the Axpo Energy Award. The Startups.ch Award aims to identify and honour the best Swiss business idea in the small business segment. The AXA Innovation Award will go to a person with a revolutionary business idea and the best business plan. The Axpo Energy Award will honour the best business idea in the energy field. Any of the three awards is worth CHF50.000.
The goal of the Prix Liechti – Coup de pouce is to support business projects in the development stage. The project must provide innovation or sustainable progress in areas such as economics, ecology, health, the fight against poverty, basic needs (water, energy, etc.). A humanitarian impact is desired.
The goal of the InnoPrix SoBa is the promotion of the Solothurn economy. The selected project has to have a positive impact on the Solothurn economy and to preserve or create jobs in the region. The project must be innovative and must have a considerable market potential. In addition a reasonable business plan has to be available. The prize is endowed with CHF25’000.
