Successful crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo

Abhati Suisse demonstrated that Swiss start-ups can achieve their goals on Indiegogo. The young cosmetics company raised USD 25’000 on the crowdfunding platform.  

Crowdfunding seems to be an important trend but most of the campaigns on platform such as Indiegogo and Kickstarter fail and the successful projects raise usually less than USD 10’000. An interesting article on "The Verge" reports about these difficulties. For Swiss companies it seems to be even harder to get funding from Indiegogo or Kickstarter.

This means that the campaign of Abhati can be considered as a breakthrough. The cosmetics company was able to raise a little bit more than USD 25’000 during its Indiegogo campaign which started End of October and ended on Sunday.

Abhati Suisse is a young cosmetics company based in Switzerland. The first product of its cosmetics line is “One Hand Washes the Other”, a natural product for hand-washing. Every product purchase will help buy toilets for schools that have none. The money from the crowdfunding campaign will be used to finance the launch of One Hand Washes the Other.

In addition Abhati is working on a website. In the meantime information about the company, its mission and its product can be found on Indiegogo and on the Facebook page of Abhati.
